A total of 116 players including foreign players, India international and domestic handball talents went under the hammer at the inaugural Premier Handball League auction on Sunday.
Garvit Sports Private Limited is promoted by Mr. RK Naidu. He has represented Indian Handball Team for more than a decade including IX ASIAD, 1982, New Delhi, Asian Championships, Kings Cup, Hongkong – 1986 as a Captain of the team Indu-GDR test matches and Indo-Nepal test matches. He received Shiv Chatrapati Shivaji Award, by the Govt. of Maharashtra during 1983–84. He has served for more than 30 years in Sports Authority of India (SAI) since 1989 to June–2020, superannuated from SAI on July–2021 as Regional Director, SAI Regional Centre, Gandhinagar. Garvit Gujarat is a Franchise of the Men’s Premier Handball League, owned by Garvit Sports Private Limited.
Our dynamic Director & Manager Rajeev Naidu is a passionate sportsman having participated and steered many teams to victory.
1) He led the Indian team at the FUTSAL Asia Cup 2014 winning the bronze.
2) He has represented Madhya Pradesh at the Santosh Trophy Football and Delhi at the National School Games Football (U/19).
3) He was a part of the Gujarat Handball Team which secured the Silver Medal at the NATIONAL GAMES, Kerala 2015.
4) He was the Manager of the Indian Kabaddi Team at the WORLD CUP held in Ahmedabad 2016 where the team won a gold.
5) He was also a member of the Gujarat Delegation at the South Asian Games, 2016.
On the professional front, along with Garvit Sports Pvt Ltd. He is also the Director at Markcom sports and Jai shree ashoka roller flour mill.
